How much boost can I run with this turbocharger?
The basic kits run 5-6 psi boost. The turbocharger on our basic kits is capable of producing higher boost of 15+ psi. However, in most cases a larger turbocharger would be more efficient at higher boost levels. There is more to running higher boost than just turning the boost up. You must also be able to meet the fuel demands of higher boost as well as set up the engine to handle the extra power so that you don’t cause mechanical failures with the engine.

Can I use the KTC with Overture?
Absolutely, but not in the way you are thinking. Overture only allows a small number of keywords per ad, and there is no way to do the same kinds of testing in Overture as you can in Adwords. Each change you make to your Overture ads takes 3 to 5 days to be approved by the editorial staff there. Google’s changes are immediate. Can I install a supercharger, turbocharger or nitrous oxide on my engine?

Many things can cause boost to vary, for example: airflow restrictions, turbo condition, amount of load, condition of ambient air and engine efficiency. Boost is not the only thing that determines whether or not your turbocharger is operating optimally: things like temperature and turbine-inlet pressure must also be considered for a complete picture.

What is a “silencer ring”?
A silencer ring is a metal baffle placed into the turbocharger inlet to reduce whistle from the turbocharger. It is installed in Ram truck engines at the request of Chrysler. The silencer ring has no effect on engine output, EGT, or boost levels. Removal: Remove the flex hose from the front of the turbo that goes to the breather.
